Tim Minchin's brand of dark comedic cabaret has received increasing critical and public acclaim in the last 2 years. His most recent show, So Rock is now available on CD (recorded live at The Dolphin Theatre in Perth, Western Australia on 10/11 June 2006). He has composed for theatre and musical theatre, most recently writing music and lyrics for The Q Theatre's Somewhere and Tamarama Rock Surfers' This Blasted Earth , both in Sydney. Other composing credits include Cosi and One Destiny for Black Swan Theatre Co, Mother Courage and Caucasian Chalk Circle for WA Youth Theatre, and Macbeth , The Tempest and Merchant of Venice for UWA Dramatic Society. He has also composed and produced music for Discovery Channel and for several short films.
